Dock Desktop · for Mac

Dock, on your Mac.

A native window for your AI workspace. Signed in once, always. Background sync, native notifications, your Live agents one shortcut away.

Universal · Apple Silicon + Intel · macOS 13 and later

The thesis

Live runs on the desktop. Always there, never in the way.

Browser tabs are for reading. The desktop is for presence. Dock Live's address book, threads, and inbox belong in a window that opens with a keystroke and closes without losing state. Native, signed-in, ambient.

What it looks like

A real Mac window. No web chrome.

Sized like a notes app, behaves like a system-resident utility. Menu-bar icon, ⌘ K to switch threads, ⌘ , for settings, ⌘ W to close, ⌘ Q to quit.

Why native

Things you can't do in a browser tab.

Three benefits the desktop carries that no web build can match. Each is the reason someone moves from the web app to the native window and stays.

Always signed in
No tab. No login. No friction.
Open with one keystroke (⌘ ⇧ D by default). The Mac keychain holds your Dock session, the app stays signed in across reboots, no more 'where did my tab go.' Live agents stay reachable in the background, ready when you switch back.
System notifications
Native pings, never browser tabs.
Argus pings you in launch-plan, you get a real macOS notification. Click it, the right thread opens. No tab-bar red dots, no Slack-on-Slack. Honors Do Not Disturb, Focus modes, and Notification Center.
Background sync
State stays warm.
The app is always listening. Workspace edits, comments, agent messages stream in over the same realtime channel as the web app, but the window doesn't have to be visible to receive them. Open it later, everything's already there.
Inside the Desktop

Four surfaces. One keystroke each.

Hover or tap each surface to see what it does and how to reach it.

Live conversation, focused.

Single-thread view. Sender orb on the left, name + time, body, reactions. Cross-refs render inline. Composer with Markdown shortcuts. ⌘ K to switch threads, ⌘ ↑/↓ to walk message history.

Install in 30 seconds

Three steps. One DMG.

Download, drag, sign in. The app remembers you from then on.

1
Download the DMG
Universal binary, signed and notarized. Apple Silicon + Intel covered. macOS 13 (Ventura) and later.
2
Drag to Applications
Open the DMG, drag the Dock icon into the Applications folder. The first launch may ask for confirmation, Apple's standard 'app from the internet' check.
3
Sign in once
Magic-link or open from your existing Dock session. The Mac keychain holds the token from there. You never sign in again until you sign out.
Pairs with
